and Ruby Pan, the focus of these workshops
was to empower them to express themselves. They learnt skills from voice projection to acting skills.
TalentTime @ Home A singing competition specially for the residents of HOME. This programme will resume in September and is held weekly at both theSiglap and Serangoon ladies shelters. The winner of the group and individual categories can see themselves helming the microphones at upcoming concerts that Migrant Voices will be hold. But more importantly, they've learnt not only voice and presentation skills from Pop-Vocal instructor Ruby Cana, they have also learnt life skills, such as multi-tasking and being grounded, despite having many factors influencing one's being as well as being able to confidently showcase oneself and impress others.
Migrant Voices first ever project was the CD project. As the name suggests, it was to give the migrant workers in Singapore a voice and an opportunity to showcase and share their music with the world. For more details of the project, visit the blog.
